Cookies and site data

Our website may use cookies for essential site functions, comment convenience, security, embedded content, cookie consent and future shop features.

How we use your information.

We may use your information to:

  • reply to messages sent through the contact form;
  • send email updates if you have joined the Yarn ChickHen mailing list;
  • manage comments and reduce spam;
  • keep the website secure and working properly;
  • understand which content visitors enjoy;

We use MailerLite to manage the Yarn ChickHen email newsletter. If you sign up, your email address and any other details you provide may be stored and processed by MailerLite so we can send updates.

You can unsubscribe from Yarn ChickHen emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email, or by contacting us at info@yarnchickhen.com.

Contact forms and SureForms.

We use a contact form on the website so visitors can send messages to Yarn ChickHen. When you submit the form, the details you enter are used to send your enquiry to us and allow us to respond.

Please do not send sensitive personal information through the contact form unless it is necessary for your enquiry.

Cookies.

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Yarn ChickHen may use cookies for essential website features, security, remembering cookie choices, comment convenience, embedded content, and future shop features.

We use CookieYes to help manage cookie consent. You can usually change or withdraw cookie consent through the cookie banner or cookie settings on the site, and you can also control cookies through your browser settings.

If you leave a comment, you may be able to opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you do not have to fill in your details again if you leave another comment.

Embedded content and social links.

Pages and posts on this site may include embedded content, such as YouTube videos, images, social media posts, links or other content from third-party websites.

Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if you visited those websites directly. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor how you interact with that embedded content.

Yarn ChickHen links to platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Ko-fi. Those platforms have their own privacy policies and settings.

Shop, colouring books and affiliate links.

The Yarn ChickHen shop is currently being prepared. In the future, the site may link to colouring books, stickers, mugs, tote bags, project bags, digital patterns, printable tags, recommended products or other yarny finds.

Some future shop or recommendation links may be affiliate links. This means Yarn ChickHen may earn a small commission if you buy through those links, at no extra cost to you. We will make this clear when affiliate links are used properly.

If we later add direct checkout, payments, delivery or account features, we will update this Privacy Policy to explain how shop data is handled.
